- IMHO.....
- It has a huge arexx port
- It exports in postscript, iff, HPGL & HPGL2, adobe illustrator!
- It imports iff, HPGL & 2, postscript!
- Many internal object warp, mangle and changes
- Comes with a tracer
- Is fast (on my 4k '040)
- DOES NOT CRASH.
-
- I use it as a CAD package (I tried most of the others without much success
- :( !). It is that flexible! I have written many arexx scripts to CADify it,
- and alter the HPGL export to support fully my 8 pen plotter.
-
- It is very well supported by Stylus! They have answered all my queries very
- quickly. This is not to say that there are features I'd like to see
- implemented, but the package as is, saves me time and makes me money. I can
- only recommend it!
-
- One big problem I have found though, is that ProVector's native format is
- not well supported by PageStream (my DTP), therefore images need to be
- exported in a different format is used in PageStream :( !!
